What you would do
- Lead and manage projects and activities related to crime prevention and associated issues under the supervision of the Deputy Executive Director.
- Ensure overall management of European projects.
- Coordinate and animate consortia of European partners (local and regional authorities, universities, NGOs).
- Actively contribute to fundraising and drafting responses to European calls for proposals (e.g., Horizon Europe, ISF).
- Contribute to the association’s strategic thinking and produce high-quality content (policy briefs, methodological guides, publications).
- Organize and facilitate working groups, conferences, and training sessions for elected officials and technical staff from member cities.
- Promote exchange of good practices and foster peer-to-peer cooperation between cities.
- Maintain strong relationships with current members and contribute to the growth of the Efus network across Europe.

Eligibility snapshot
Must have
- Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Political Science, European Affairs, Law, or Social Sciences.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally within a local authority, a network organization, or an international institution.
- Solid knowledge of crime prevention policies, the functioning of local and regional governments, and European funding programmes.
- Proven experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and synthesis skills in both French and English.
- Full professional proficiency in both French and English (C1 level minimum, written and spoken).
- Autonomy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
- Readiness to travel frequently within Europe and flexibility regarding working hours.
Advantageous
- Fluency in a third European language (e.g., Spanish, German, Italian) is a strong asset.

Main Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Deputy Executive Director, you will lead and manage projects and activities related to crime prevention and associated issues (including violence linked to the use and trafficking of drugs).
Your duties will focus on three main areas:
