Public browsing

Vacancy listings are free to browse without an account. Standard security logs may contain IP address, browser type and requested URL. We use them to protect and operate the service.

Accounts and alerts

When you register, we store your email address, password hash, verification state, alert rules and delivery history. We process these details to provide the account and notifications you request. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

Contact, support and issue reports

When you contact support, email one of our support addresses, or request a reply to a page report, we store your email address, message, conversation history and relevant page context. Page reports may include selected text, page URL, viewport size, browser identifier and account link. Anonymous reports contain no reply address.

Resend processes inbound and outbound support email. Authorized staff can use an AI drafting service to prepare a suggested reply; the suggestion is reviewed before sending. Do not include passwords, identity documents or other unnecessary sensitive data.

CV Match Radar

When you expressly upload a PDF CV, the original file is retained in private object storage linked to your account. This lets you re-download it, replace it, and use it with CV improvement tools that you deliberately request. It is not published, sent to employers or automatically reused for another purpose. EuroVacancyRadar does not run model-training workflows on uploaded CVs. Upload only your own CV or a document you are authorized to process.

The service extracts text from the PDF. Extracted source text is encrypted while queued for processing and deleted after a structured draft is built. An AI service may process a redacted professional section from the CV; contact details and stated identity attributes are removed before that request. The resulting draft can include your professional headline, summary, experience, education, skills, languages, certifications and job preferences.

You must review the draft before match scores are treated as ready. Matching does not use names, contact details, age, gender, photos, marital status, health, ethnicity or inferred protected traits. Nationality or citizenship conditions are marked for manual verification and are not inferred. Scores are private discovery aids, not recruitment decisions, eligibility decisions or predictions. CV workspace pages and job pages showing a private match are excluded from session replay. You can download, replace or delete the stored CV and profile without deleting your account.

Product analytics and session replay

We use PostHog's European service to measure page visits, core actions and how visitors navigate the interface. Outside the private CV workspace, session replay records page content and layout, pointer movement, scrolling, navigation, non-password form values and URL query strings so we can find usability problems. Password inputs remain masked. Replays can therefore include visible email addresses, search terms, alert names and text entered into contact or report forms.

PostHog stores the client IP address with future analytics events. Analytics use a pseudonymous session identifier or internal account identifier. CV content, extracted profile fields and match evidence are not sent as analytics properties.

Cookies and outside services

EuroVacancyRadar uses a security session cookie for sign-in, CSRF protection and account functions. PostHog uses first-party browser storage for pseudonymous analytics and replay sessions; its data is sent through hlp.eurovacancyradar.com to PostHog's European service. We do not use advertising cookies.

Google Fonts and Fontshare may receive normal request metadata when serving web fonts. The configured email provider processes addresses, message content and delivery data to operate verification, alerts and support. Our private object-storage provider stores original CV files. The configured AI provider processes redacted professional CV text only when CV Match Radar or a CV tool you request is used.

Applications

EuroVacancyRadar does not receive job applications. Uploading a CV to the private matching workspace does not send it to an employer or apply for a vacancy. Apply links lead to the institution or original vacancy source, whose privacy terms then apply.

Legal bases and recipients

We process account, alert, requested support and optional CV storage, matching and user-requested improvement data to perform the service you ask for. Security, abuse prevention, service measurement and improvement rely on our legitimate interests in operating a safe and useful platform, subject to your rights. We process data to meet legal obligations where required. Data is shared only with service providers and authorities where necessary for these purposes or required by law. We do not sell candidate profiles, CVs or personal data.

Your controls and rights

You can correct or delete your CV profile and pause or delete any alert. Account settings let you permanently delete your account and associated private data. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability. You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.

Retention

The original CV remains in private object storage until you replace it, delete the CV workspace or delete your account. A replaced file is scheduled for deletion after its replacement is stored. Encrypted extracted source text is deleted after parsing or a terminal parsing error. Reviewed structured CV data remains until you delete the CV workspace or account. Deletion from active storage is immediate or retried through our deletion queue after a temporary provider failure; encrypted backups expire through normal rotation.

Account data otherwise remains until account deletion. Support conversations remain while needed to answer requests, prevent abuse and maintain service history. Short-lived operational logs, analytics events, session replays and email delivery records may remain where required for security, reliability or legal obligations.
