As a Bid Manager, you will identify, prepare, and manage responses to international tenders, supporting the growth of Suez Consulting's project portfolio and strengthening client and partner relationships. The strongest stated requirement is proven experience (minimum 5 years) in international cooperation, preferably with EC, EIB, AfD, WB, ADB, including analysis of requests, budget preparation, and preparation of tenders.
This role supports Suez Consulting's International Division in providing engineering and consultancy services for essential services in developing and emerging countries.
What you would do
- Monitor upcoming tenders and funding opportunities.
- Research project background information and conduct market analyses.
- Draft Expressions of Interest and Pre-Qualification documents.
- Assist in the preparation of technical and financial proposals.
- Support the production and formatting of high-quality bid documentation.
- Help identify and liaise with external consultants and freelance experts.
- Prepare and format CVs and administrative compliance documents.
- Assist in managing and developing strategic partnerships.
Eligibility snapshot
Must have
- Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken).
- Higher education in international development or engineering (Water/Wastewater, Solid Waste, Roads, Railways, Energy, Environment, or Urban Development).
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in international cooperation (preferably with EC, EIB, AfD, WB, ADB), including analysis of requests, budget preparation, preparation of tenders.
- Strong analytical and writing abilities.
- Proficiency in IT tools, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Advantageous
- Knowledge of an additional language is a strong asset.
