• CINEA ensures that personal data is processed as required by Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies.

Selection steps

1. Candidates must be included in the EPSO database for contract agents and have passed the EPSO CAST selection tests or be in EPSO/CAST/2017 in the grade and profile requested.
2. EPSO will organise only the reasoning tests, not the competency tests.
3. Only applications submitted in the framework of a published vacancy notice are considered.
4. Hence, the need for the recruiting services of the EU institutions to adapt the selection procedure of Contract Agents accordingly and to introduce changes to the respective notices of competition for ongoing procedures (please see, in particular, the section on Eligibility criteria).
5. Candidates who have been successful in an external Selection Procedure organised by CINEA are placed on a valid reserve list which can be found on the following link.
6. If you believe you have been adversely affected by a substantial error or irregularity allegedly committed in a selection procedure you may use the available legal remedies.
