Seconded National Experts (multiple profiles)

Must have

• National of an EU or EFTA Member State or a country with which AMLA has decided to open accession negotiations and which has concluded a specific agreement on staff secondments, except where the Executive Director grants derogation.
• Employed by an international, national, regional or local public administration, or by a public intergovernmental organisation (IGO).
• Worked for your employer on a permanent or contract basis for at least one year before the secondment and remain in service throughout the secondment.
• At least one year full-time experience in administrative, legal, technical, advisory or supervisory functions.
• Thorough knowledge (C1) of one European official language and satisfactory knowledge (B2) of another European official language.
• Meet character requirements needed for the duties involved (e.g. an affidavit to the effect that you have no criminal record).
• Completed university studies of at least three years, attested by a diploma, awarded in EU Member States or subject of equivalence certificates issued by authorities in said Member States.
• Strong command of both written and spoken English (min. C1 level).

Advantageous

• Expertise and experience in an area relating to the activities of AMLA.
• Interest and motivation to build a partnership with AMLA.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English at all levels both orally and in writing.

Selection steps

3. Proof of compliance with specific criteria may be requested at any stage; failure to comply with eligibility and essential criteria will disqualify the application.
4. Eligible candidates will be screened by AMLA's units according to the information provided in the application form.
5. Shortlisted candidate(s) will be invited to an online interview to discuss suitability, mutual expectations and opportunity to enhance collaboration with your organisation.
6. Selected candidate will be requested to complete a declaration of interest.
7. Secondment established by an agreement between the Executive Director as Appointing Authority, the SNE and the SNE's employer.
8. Selected candidates may undergo a security clearance process; failure to obtain clearance may result in disqualification.
