Radar brief
The Court of Justice seeks temporary staff to work in its Budget and Financial Affairs Directorate across budget, accounting, financial verification, public procurement, project monitoring and internal control. Candidates must be EU nationals with the required AD or AST education and a good knowledge of French and English, the working languages of the service.
The role supports the Court of Justice's mission at the heart of European justice by ensuring sound budget, financial, procurement and internal control management.
What you would do
- Prepare and monitor the institution's budget.
- Manage accounting and treasury.
- Carry out ex ante and ex post verifications.
- Prepare and monitor the organisation of procurement procedures.
- Handle tasks related to the financial and budgetary management system, project monitoring, and the internal control system.
Eligibility snapshot
Must have
- Be a national of an EU Member State.
- For AD: at least 3 years of university studies attested by a diploma.
- For AST: a university diploma, or a secondary diploma giving access to post-secondary education with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Thorough knowledge of one official EU language and satisfactory knowledge of another; good knowledge of French and satisfactory knowledge of English, or vice versa, is required.
Advantageous
- Training in a field relevant to the directorate's activity.

- Additional language knowledge.
Contract and workplace context
Temporary-agent post. Contract duration, renewal, probation and grade conditions remain governed by the official notice.
