What you would do

  • Implement all health promotion activities with efficient use of resources, focusing on logistics and administration, respecting internal/donor procedures.

  • Continuously assess the needs of the people encountered.

  • Develop and/or deploy awareness, information, and education tools.
  • Define objectives, content, and key messages to convey.
  • Maintain, feed, and disseminate a referral and resource directory to support beneficiaries.

Eligibility snapshot

Must have

  • Bachelor in anthropology, trained/experienced in awareness, communication, intercultural mediation, health promotion, or significant experience.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience with communities, in a humanitarian context and/or with people in precarious situations.
  • Writing skills, organizational capacity, analytical capacity, teamwork, autonomy, initiative, elocution and communication skills, stress resistance.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, team spirit.
  • Fluent French and English.

Advantageous

  • Master in public health with specialization in health promotion or community health, or Master in anthropology or sociology.
  • Ability to develop and implement training with partners and with hosted people.
  • Aptitude for cultural mediation.
  • Knowledge of another language (Arabic, Spanish, etc.).
